Consulting Packages

The majority of our structured consulting projects fall into one of two categories:

  • A comprehensive strategic review.
  • A more focused review of a specific marketing or messaging challenge.

In addition, we maintain a constant dialog with our retainer-relationship clients, addressing a range of issues and questions, and passing along a variety of ideas, news alerts, and even partnership or sales opportunities. And when all other models fail, we do traditional day-rate consulting as well.

Most of our vendor consulting services are available only to Monash Advantage program members. However, we have two offerings available to all comers:

Strategy Seminar

($5,000, or $2,500 for Monash Advantage members)

These typically consist of a telephone meeting with a client team, lasting 1 ½ – 3 hours, plus preparation and followup. Topics covered include most or all of product direction, positioning, competitive forces, partnering possibilities (often), acquisition possibilities (sometimes), and usually a variety of other strategic and execution issues as well. Typically, this is the appropriate first engagement for us to have with a new client.

Message Review

($2,500, or $1,250 for Monash Advantage members)

In a 45-90 minute meeting, we focus on a specific area of market messaging. Recent examples include: category naming / positioning, specific slide presentations, website redesigns, and blogging outreach programs. These are meant for clients with whom we're already familiar.

Along with numerous other benefits, a 2008 Monash Advantage membership includes one free Strategy Seminar and two free Message Reviews.

"Curt is willing to provide direct answers to our questions, including the questions that many analysts shy away from, making his perspective invaluable.  After consulting with him, we walk away confident that we have an accurate insider's view of the market."
